Piercings available at Fire and Ice
Lobes: These are the flesh parts located at the bottom
of the ears. We have a large range of gold and surgical steel stud earrings
for this piercing. It is also possible to have ball closure rings in titanium
for the ear lobes.
Scaffold or Industrial: This is in effect two piercings
through the cuff of the ear, a long barbell made from titanium joins the
two piercings together.
Tragus: The piece of cartilage that is joined to the
face. This is pierced with a small barbell made from titanium.
Helix: The very top of the ear cuff. Pierced with a small
straight barbell or ball closure ring made from titanium.
The Edge of the Eyebrow: This is usually pierced with
a small curved barbell or ball closure ring, made of titanium.
Vertical Eyebrow: The vertical eyebrow piercing can be
placed anywhere along the eyebrow using a small titanium ball closure
ring or curved barbell.
Nostril: This piercing is a small nose stud made from
titanium.
Septum: This is the cartilage between the two nostrils.
This can be pierced with a ball closure ring or a circular barbell made
from titanium.
Bridge: Placed a horizontally across the top of the nose, a small curved titanium barbell is the best jewellery for this piercing, although many people choose a ring once the piercing has healed.
Madonna Spot: Positioned above the top lip, to either
the left or right. This is pierced with a titanium stud.
Lip: The lip is pierced with a titanium ball closure
ring.
Labret: The labret is pierced between the lip and the
crease in the chin. It is best pierced in titanium.
Nipples: Nipples can be pierced either vertically or
horizontally. It is best to pierce with titanium barbells to start with
as these heal more quickly and efficiently than rings. After the healing
period it is fine to put rings in the nipples.
Navel: The navel, or belly button as it is referred to,
is pierced with a curved titanium barbell. Once again changing to a ring
once the piercing has healed is not a problem.
